Note: I like follow USA's politics, but I usually avoid blogging about it. This time I'll make an exception.
We see everywhere in the news that the IRAQ war have cost the USA roughly 3 trillion dollars.
It's kinda hard to put in perspective how much money it is. Probably because we rarely count something in term of trillions.
So I was curious.. what is exactly 3 trillion dollars for a country like the USA ?
Then I though, hey Wikipedia have these numbers and I can easily make a convenient pie chart to see roughly what represent this amount of money for USA economy. So I compared it to the country's estimated GPD for 2007.

I saw other numbers on Wikipedia that were interesting to compare with similar charts.
It's hard to believe that this amount of money have been spent on a country which is a fraction of the size and population of the USA

But the most chilling figure remains the deaths comparison

I'm no data analysis expert, but I sincerely don't see how these figures could make any sense and I don't see this saga ending well anytime soon..
Congratulation Mr. Bush, you created a genocide and practically collapsed your country's economy. 9/11 was a small tragedy for the USA compared to your borderline fascist reign.
Mission accomplished, like you say ?
