I've thought a lot about Ray and the features that should and should not be included and I think I've finally come to a kind of equilibrium.
Usually I tend to code as I think and most of the time it's well enough, but this time the project is quite complicated I felt I needed a clear picture of the final product i want to achieve if I want to stimulate some interest and hopefully give some traction to this project.
If not, it will at least serves me as clear road map..
So this is what I'd like Ray to look like (click for full size):
As you can see, yes I plan to integrate basic image manipulation support and/or Pixlr :)
I've put a revision column, but sincerely I'm not sure yet of what the revision system support will really look like (but I will definitely take a look at this!).
As for now here's a list of most of the externals projects I'm using for the UI:
This is without any doubts the project with the most jQuery dependencies I've ever created.
Any feedback, comments or help is welcome !
PS: Anyone looking for a good challenge ? I need a codemirror parser/tokenizer for django's template syntax. Ideally it would just plug-in codemirror's HTML mixed syntax (just like it was done for PHP/CSS/JavaScript) .. I gave it a try but I would probably need months to get it right .. unfortunately I don't have that leisure time.
If you're interested, that's a good place to start...
