Recently I broke my crappy head set.. I always listen for music while working, and within 2 days without music I was about to get crazy. So I got myself a crappy pair of "ear bulbs" which broke too after 3 or 4 songs.
Later, while walking out of a client's office I notice on an employee's desk a large set headphones. You know the kind which makes you look like a jet pilot .. or a complete fool.
But I didn't care much, I instantly knew that it was what I wanted, so after a quick shopping I finally found the price tag/quality that met my expectations. I won't tell the brand because I don't feel like making them publicity :p But I paid about 40$ for it and I'm pretty satisfied, no really satisfied.
There is something I like about buying better quality audio equipment, old music sounds new again.
Which lead me to my musical crush of the week: Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon.
To this day, audiophiles use The Dark Side of the Moon as a reference standard to test the fidelity of audio equipment despite the fact that it was originally mixed from third-generation tape with Dolby noise reduction.
Damn this album never gets old.
