About me

My name is Maxime Haineault, I live in Québec (Canada) with my dear love Vanessa.

I used to work for the past 4 years in a design studio as project manager/designer/programmer of the web department. While working there I had the chance to work on many projects. Most of them were website but I also create failry complex web applications and automated systems. I loved this job and there's no school that could compete on the amount of knowlege I have gained in those four years, however as much as I liked what I was doing I felt I wasn't at the right place to exploit my full potential.

So I started my own company, Motion Média*, with my partner Danny Guérin. Our focus is on the web site, web application and video, but we also offer a wide range of services.

We have a only temporary website online so far, but until our portfolio is online here's our first realisation!

Technologies I use

Here are some technologies I use that makes my everyday work much easier and fun. There is much more but, I can't list them all so I only listed those I use the most often.

Those great Open Source projects where a good demonstration for me of how Open Source works and can often beat Closed Source softwares on many grounds, if not all. They inspired me to release most of my projects under Open Source license.
